Day 3: for Mani

Today, I run for Mani.  Mani is the Hindi word for "jewel."  As I look at the picture of Mani, I can see how the name fits her.  The story of what her future may hold, however, isn't fit for anyone.  I pray that she feels empowered and valuable enough to never even think of entering the sex trade.  In her religion, she may be seen as worthless, destined only to entertain gluttonous men, but to the living God who laid down his life, he loved her so much, she is so much more.  She is his jewel... in Hindi, भगवान गहना.
