Prettygirl... such a precious name for this eleven year old girl. If you were to read her story in an article, you'd think she was much older than she really is, but listen to her story in her own voice... such a little voice. Praise God Almighty that in the darkest of times, Prettygirl is still able to sing.
This story touched me the most of any so far. I get so bogged down sifting through traumatic recounts of intense cruelty to post on this blog. I praise God that these girls aren't trapped forever, and, like Prettygirl, they can still find the strength to sing.
